Surgical Orthodontics

Some patients visited this clinic with mutilated dentition and jaw deformity. This kind of situation needs both orthodontist and oral surgeon/plastic surgeon to work together as a team to solve the patient’s problem.

Usually the patient needs 6 to 8 months orthodontic treatment firstly for levelling & aligning of the dentition. Then the surgical splints will be fabricated for the patient by orthodontist.

The surgical operation will be lasted for 4 to 6 hours in the hospital. Usually the patient will be admitted for 3 to 7 days depends on the clinical conditions.Then the patient will receive another one year post surgical orthodontic treatment for final detailing and finishing.
